Sharing Decks

Deck sharing is available on the Scholar plan.

How It Works

Sharing creates a snapshot of your deck and generates a link anyone can use to claim their own copy. The recipient does not need a Scholar account — a free Learner account is enough to accept a shared deck.

Sharing a Deck

1. Open the deck's ⋯ menu and go to Deck Details > Sharing.
2. Click Share.
3. Flipnem exports the deck and uploads it to a share package. This takes longer for large decks.
4. Once complete, a shareable link appears. Copy and send it anywhere — a chat, an email, a class forum.

The link is permanent until you stop sharing.

What Recipients Receive

• All cards and their content (text, images, audio)
• The deck structure, including sub-decks
• Cards arrive as new — the recipient's FSRS schedule starts fresh, as if they imported the deck for the first time

Revoking a Share

To stop sharing, open the deck's ⋯ menu and go to Deck Details > Sharing, then click Stop Sharing. The link immediately becomes invalid. Recipients who already claimed the deck keep their copy — revoking only prevents new claims.

One Active Share Per Deck

Each deck can have one active share link at a time. Creating a new share for a deck automatically replaces the previous one.

Privacy

Shared decks are accessible to anyone with the link and a Flipnem account. It is recommended to not share decks containing personal information or content you would not want public.
